Here is another one of those forgotten incidents that deserved to be remembered. In 1945 a Mosquito broke up over the the suburbs I have been living in for ten odd years. Two airmen died as a result. I'm sure the TAFE students at Petersham have never noticed the memorials in the school grounds, or if they did have I'm sure they haven't the faintest clue what it is all about.

When I was in England I had a couple of games of pool. I clearly remember one game where I had a little too much to drink and my opponent was semi-professional pool player. I didn't sink a ball. Needless to say I dropped my trousers and ran around the table. When I finished I looked up at the stunned faces of the other people in the pub to discover - the dacks down run around the table isn't traditional in England. Only Australia, apparently. Funny, that.

A really cool great circle mapper. If you don't understand the concept of the great circle, then briefly it is the graphical display of the difference between a square, flat map and a curved, spherical earth.

The Piazza Search.

As the website says - "The Holden Piazza - the answer to a question nobody asked."

I can only recall ever seeing one in my entire life. Thank god. I could certainly do with a few less Leyland P76s and Toyota Crowns in the old memory bank as well.

GT4

A phrase I rarely, if ever, use.

O M F G.
