There's one thing that really irritates me about news reports of late - it's the use of 'that' as some explainer of an event. So and so is facing the judiciary after 'that' tackle, who-dad under fire after 'that' incident.

Aren't you supposed to be telling me what the news is? Why do you presume I already know what the news is? I find it sloppy and confusing.

Went to see TISM on Friday night with my old mate Glen, who runs Bloggered if I know. Check out his message board with my favourite thread Celebrities I'd Like To Shag. If you haven't heard of TISM you haven't lived. They are a band that's been around forever and give the best lives shows I've ever seen, and I've seen my fair share of bands. My claim to fame this time is that I managed to save Ron Hitler Barassi from beaning himself on a iron bar. I came away with two hands covered in Ron sweat. It's a long story.

I was supposed to go flying tonight - my first night flight, but the weather has turned nasty, so I'm not going. Succinct.
